Call for nominations.
We are seeking nominations and self-nominations for our 2nd Annual TEAMS / BONNIE WHEELER Award for TEACHING Excellence in Medieval Studies. This prize is open to all ranks of faculty.
Criteria for submission are:
· A current cv
· A sample of a recent publication, conference or teaching presentation in any field of medieval studies pedagogy
· 2 letters of support from colleagues who are familiar with your teaching (or one may be from a former student who is not currently enrolled in the nominee’s class)
· A detailed lesson plan or project that focuses on the candidate’s pedagogical practice, including objectives and writing or presentation descriptions.
If you would like to recommend someone whom you haven’t seen teach, suggest to them that they apply directly to us.
The prize will be a monetary award of $500 as well as $250 toward registration for ICMS 2025 and two TEAMS publications.
