Sharing a resource

The Enclosure Group is a collective of artists and scholars interested in the history of medieval women’s religious communities and their afterlives in art, literature, and intellectual history; the iconography of enclosure; and medieval women.

The group was founded in 2020 by Stacie Vos and now has an assistant director, Madeline Fox, whose work explores enclosure in medieval devotional allegory.  Here are her website and Instagram (@enclosedwithin).
